Shallow Depth Field



These two images requires  a Cannon DLSR camera. I set the camera on Av (Aperture Varient mode) and dialed in f4.5. I used one of my class mate for this image and told them to stand couple of steps away from the wall. By doing this it makes the image in front of the camera look sharp and focused and the background blurred. As you can see the models face is focused but the background isn't. I like these pictures because of the quality of the image. When a viewer looks at the image the main attraction is on my class mate (because he is in sharp focus) which is what i wanted.
